Tover Tovcol MS Flexible Wood Floor Adhesive, 15 Kg

Tover Tovcol MS is single-pack ready to use silane based moisture curing flooring adhesive, odourless, water and solvent free. Tovcol MS is suitable for elastic bonding of engineered wood floors of any size - small and medium dimensions of solid wood. The adhesive can be used on any absorbent concrete and anhydride screed, pre-existing non absorbent floors like ceramic tiles, marble and metallic supports._x000D_

Tovcol MS is recommended for use with under floor heating systems and it has a good soundproofing effect._x000D_

The absence of solvents, epoxy resins, isocyanate and the very low VOC concentration guarantees the safety for the installers and end users. Tovcol MS has received the German DIBt Certification._x000D_

Subfloor preparation_x000D_

Before laying the floor check that the rooms have window frames suitable for a wood floor installation. Concrete screeds must be even, resistant to compression and traction, free from dust anddetachable parts, not too rough and absorbent. Greasy residues, previous adhesives or other treatments must be removed. The residual moisture must be less than 2%. If moisture is high (max. 5%) it is necessary to treat the surface with liquid DPM primers._x000D_

Uneven concrete screeds must be levelled with a suitable self-levelling compound. Poor, friable and not compact subfloors must be consolidated on the surface with a primer. Anhydride subfloors must be sanded, cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and if too dusty, treated with an antidust primer._x000D_

Wood Floor Bonding_x000D_

Apply the adhesive with notched trowel (8 mm teeth) on the already prepared subfloor and lay the wood boards with a light pressure to promote a complete and uniform contact with the adhesive._x000D_

For an optimum laying we suggest to applying quantity of MS Tovcol adhesive over 60-70% of the entire surface; temperature must not be inferior to 10°C and relative air humidity not over 80%. The adhesive within the opening time can be easily removed from hands and prefinished floors, using cleaning wipes.
