Ash Flooring_x000D_

Ash timber has a similar density and strengths as oak, but is lighter in weight. In fact, it's often used as a replacement for oak and is sometimes called "golden oak." Like oak, cherry and maple timbers, ash is considered a hardwood. Besides its strength, ash wood is almost entirely shock resistant and this makes suitable material for various uses, including ash flooring._x000D_

The grain of the white ash is widely spaced and tidy, forming long lines on the flooring planks and black ash has darker rings (medium brown) closer together, which adds a different sort of look and charm to the interior._x000D_

Hardwood Wearable Layer_x000D_

This engineered flooring product comes with 3 mm real wood top layer, which provides sufficient depth for renovating your floors at least once after installation._x000D_

Multi-Strip Plank Appearance_x000D_

Each plank of this flooring product comprises of 3 pieces of timber joined together. This creates a straight line parquet-style resemblance, which offers abundance of character and is ideal budget timber flooring product. Marcato, Vivo - BOEN's Timber Grading Explained_x000D_

Unlike other manufacturers of flooring, which use 3 timber grades in the selection of timber for wooden products (Prime, Natural and Rustic), BOEN has a more diverse classification. Marcato and Vivo are grades used by Boen for wooden floors with random grain pattern, priminent colour variation and random size of knots. This would be classified as a Rustic grade by some other manufacturers of flooring._x000D_

Installation - BOEN 5G Click_x000D_

BOEN's 14 mm wood flooring range offers 5G Click system for rapid installtion. They are easy to install, designed for floating installations over concrete or timber subfloors. The 5G Click from BOEN is safest choice for underfloor heating systems (UFH) and although does not require use of any flooring adhesive, it is suitable for gluing to the subfloor as well._x000D_

Please note, when click system planks join together they create their own plain and level, which when floated over uneven subfloor may cause bouncing. Therefore some subfloor prep may be required prior to considering a click system plank, if there is any concern with level. Failing to address these may cause as well sqeaky noise, coming from the click system after the installation._x000D_

Maintenance_x000D_

Lacquered floors are easy to maintain - they need hoovering and gentle clean once in a while with effcient, lacquerd-friendly cleaner, which does not leave moisture residue. Our best advice for regular cleaning of lacquered floors goes for Bona Spray Mop and Bona Cleaner Refill._x000D_
